DESIGN STORY

Challenges
A challenge we are encountering within our project is the fact that the container for our drone doesn't actually exist, so we have to 3D design and test it. Therefore, if we scale it up for larger drones to feed larger animals, we would have to redesign or rescale the container.
Solution
Our solution is to hire 3D design professionals to help us scale up and redesign the drone.

Impact on the market

Our product is focused on helping Zoo owners to create a safer environment for the employees when feeding the dangerous or endangered animals. This allows employers to have an easier time employing new people without much experience, by offering some training that we would provide for using the drone.

RESULTS

FINAL PRODUCT

We build handmade drones to fit our containers that can hold enough weight for the zoo feed that the containers will hold. They get connected to each other and are programmed through an Arduino to control the drone and dispense the food.
