``Efficiency and Size: We had some challenges balancing efficiency with size and weight. Solar panels need to be efficient enough to generate adequate power while remaining compact and lightweight for portability and wearability. Durability and Weather Resistance: There was also trouble Ensuring the device was durable and weather-resistant as it is essential for outdoor use. It it had to be able to withstand various environmental conditions, including rain, extreme temperatures, and physical impacts. Charging Speed: Solar charging is generally slower than traditional charging methods. Optimizing the charging speed while maintaining efficiency was crucial to provide practical usability yet hard to implement.``
Solution
``Efficiency and Size: We found and used powerful solar panels specifically designed for portable applications. Utilize their lightweight yet durable materials for the construction of he Sun Pulse to reduce its weight without compromising durability. Durability and Weather Resistance: We conduct rigorous testing to ensure the Sun Pulse meets industry standards for durability and weather resistance. Charging Speed: We found the most efficient batteries and solar panels to maximise the the power gain we provided compatibility with traditional charging methods to offer faster charging when solar charging is not sufficient.``
Use Case
If the user needs to change their phone as soon as possible to get their train ticket its possible thanks to Sun Pulse. As long as the battery is charged it will charge the connected devices to allow the user to have their train ticket on their phone.

Research and Development: Part of our team conducted market research to understand consumer needs and trends in portable power solutions. They focused on finding the necessary to develop the Sun Pulse such as the type of solar panel needed.

Design: Others started designing the prototype, they generated sketches, 3D models, and digital renderings using tools like Tinkercad to visualize the product’s form and function, ensuring it was practical before settling on a final design

Making: Now that we had the design and components the team put it all together. We worked on prototyping, testing, and refining the Sun Pulse’s components to ensure reliability, performance, and durability under various environmental conditions.”
