THE PROCESS

PROTOTYPE DESIGN

We have a 3D model of smart animal feeder with the lid on top and inside it stores the food for the animal this is to make sure sufficient storage of food is kept. On the outside there is pot for the food to be dispensed too where the animal will eat it when animal walks upon to the sensor as this is shown on the 3D prototype.

We want to make budget friendly and small compact smart animal feeder which will have unique features with combination of use of timers and sensors which will help combat animal hunger.

FINAL PRODUCT

The aim of our pet feeder is to dispense food automatically with ease, our final product design has a budget friendly and sleek design, we are using a pressure sensor to detect when animals are eating the food, we are also using a matrix pad to be able to add the time when feeding the pet, for its inner workings we are using a servo motor dispense the right amount of food.
