The main idea and purpose of the mechanical claw is to reduce the need for human interaction in dangerous situations this incudes situations like heavy lifting within a workplace that could possibly harm a human or injure them or for the claw to lift things in places that human hands would be unable to reach due to cause of injury

Use Case
Our project can be used in many ways for example if a person is lifting something heavy in a factory our claw can be used instead of a person bending down and harming there back whilst they are moving the heavy object it could also be redesigned for in home use for elderly people so they do not harm them self moving or picking things up and if we had the time it can also be used for more precise work like surgery to replace any possible human error

Impact on the market
Our product will fit in with different uses and adaptations for our product these include the usual and main use for our product being lifting heavy objects within a factory or manufacturing setting which may be to prevent human error or injury in lifting heavy objects our possible gap in the market for our product is an adaptation where our product is on a smaller scale but uses wheels and can be used by injured or elderly people in their homes to prevent further injury in bending down and picking things up or just moving things around there home and another possible adaptation of out product is a more precise medical use to try and remove the chance of human error in things such as surgery but that would need to be a precise claw instead our competition in the market is mostly focused on mechanical claws being used within a factory/manufacturing setting which is where our original product idea was based but with the possible adaptations that could be made to our claw we can see the potential for a new market which is much smaller.

We are currently building the claw from the parts that we have 3D printed so it is not 100% completed yet and we are also currently working with the hardware to get it functioning so the current process is building and working with the claw to construct
