Good health and wellbeing – This is one of our main goals as the motion sensor belt is to prevent those in need from danger and make their day to day life easier. Having our users well being in mind we have considered what may hinder progress in their day to day life and created a sustainable product that will protect them from their surroundings.
Reduced inequalities – This is important as our target audience is individuals who are visually impaired and do not have the best environmental awareness. This reduces inequalities as some visually impaired individuals may not feel comfortable in social settings.

PROTOTYPE DESIGN
Belt with infrared sensors attached which provides the distance from nearest object, without further code to filter certain objects and a camera with facial recognition built in which can store up to 5 faces which and can inform the user of which of them they are facing.

The product impact is helping people who are visually impaired to have a system which helps them live day to day life easier with the product. Helps the market as it provides a solution for a large audience who suffer this issue. The market is currently undersaturated as there is only one other competitor who have much higher prices therefore another cheaper solution can be beneficial.
