Our project is a handheld device marketed towards younger ages (children, toddlers etc.). The product is called the ‘Zoodex’ and will be able to scan animals in real life using a camera and provide information to the user on a screen. This information will consist of what the animal is and will give some fun facts about them as well. Animals which have been scanned can be ‘collected’ in an archive which the user can access (hence the name ‘Zoodex’ derived from ‘Pokedex’ from popular cartoon Pokemon).

``- For object detection, experiment using different libraries such as Tensorflow and OpenCV - Practice working with pyqt5 more as it boils down to a lot of trial and error``
